There has been significant feedback and response to the ACA's addition of adding underwriting as a pillar alongside crop liability and property for training, education, and support to the industry. This year's annual Ag Claims Conference has added the topic of underwriting to the event and there is a half day dedicated to underwriting. Additionally, the ACA is partnering with industry to develop tools, apps, that will assist insurance companies, underwriters, and agents better underwrite ag insurance polices to avoid missed premiums, hidden exposure, and risks associated with ag insurance. Ensuring policy underwriting is complete and accurate helps companies and insureds in the event of event that leads to a claim. The focus of the session is on grain handling facilities and structures as a starting point. Additionally, we will discuss technology for underwriting and showcase the beta version of an app the ACA has designed in conjunction with an industry partner, Dexer. This is not simply a live stream as you can send questions in via chat we will monitor for the presenter to address or you can raise your hand and you can address the presenter with questions directly.  Please turn your cameras on when addressing the presenter. We hope you will be a part of this exciting change and join us virtually for this year's conference.  Hope to 'see' you next week.
