It has been six months since our 2023 conference in Nashville and we learned a lot from expanding and the benefits of the ACA including training that is high quality and focused on our industry's requirements. The first lesson learned is that we need to get ahead of everyone's budget cycle so we are launching registration much earlier for 2024. We have worked hard to deconflict the spring calendar before there are competing events to avoid scheduling conflicts. The second thing we learned is that we must continue listening to feedback from the industry about topics while expanding our teaching and training methods to ensure attendees can take skills that they can apply for the upcoming claim season. We will include more scenario based activities that allow attendees to take what they learn at conference and use them in the near future, including tools to make their job easier. Two other common areas of concern are a shortage of agriculture P&C adjusters and the impacts of weather on claims. We are adding this to the focus of our conference and benefits of the ACA for 2024.
We are excited to announce we will do a second year hosting the conference at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee giving us another year to grow into a new region. We also understand that rising costs and budgets are an issue so we are opening registration early and using an added tier of registration tied to our 2023 price for attendance to the 2024 conference. As we open registration months earlier, the agenda is not finalized, we have most topics firm, with speakers identified, a few areas we are trying to fill may change. Please see the topics below but we ensure you, even without a firm agenda, we will maintain the same high quality event and even push to make the 2024 conference even better. We are searching for a keynote speaker that will address impacts of insurance claims on the cooperative or farmer based on the 2023 claim season. We also incorporated underwriting concerns into 2023 events to better understand claims and how missed premiums can affect a company. This practice will continue into 2024.
We know you have a choice of several events hosted annually by different organizations around the industry, the ACA strives to provide world class education, training, and support that differentiates us from the others. We look forward to the conference, your support, and growing together; we hope to see you in Nashville.
