Agricultural Claims Association, LLC is an organization founded by a group of experienced insurance professionals with extensive background in the agricultural claims industry. Our mission as an organization is to provide other ag claims professionals with a resource which will offer training, education and support. Members will have access to an extensive subject library, tutorials, conferences and continuing education, in the areas of agricultural policies, damage to equipment and agricultural buildings, damage to irrigation equipment, cattle theft and a wide variety of agricultural liability claims, just to name a few.
Additionally, in the near future, the ACA will be offering the most comprehensive and thorough Agricultural Claims Professional Certification in the industry. The course of study will combine online learning, classroom instruction and a series of tests. Please continue to watch this space for more information on the start of the certification program.

Meet our Board of Directors
John Jennings, CPCU is currently an Assistant Director of Multiple Line Claims-Property with American National Insurance is Springfield, MO. With over 13 years of experience in the Insurance Claims Industry Mr. Jennings has held Manager and Director positions with various companies mostly in the agricultural industry. John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Agricultural Claims Association and is excited to help lead this cutting edge organization.
Joe Corcoran, in his 28 plus carrier in the Insurance industry, has worked in the areas of Claims, underwriting, catastrophe events, quality control and management. For the last several years, Mr. Corcoran has become an expert in the Agricultural Claims industry while acting as the Commercial Farm/Ranch Policies and Procedures Administrator for American Family Insurance. We look forward to working with Mr. Corcoran as part of the leadership of the ACA.
Don Sedlacek is responsible for the claims operations of all of MiniCo’s business lines. With 30+ years in the insurance industry, he is an experienced claims professional with a solid background and expertise in numerous claim operational and development roles. Prior to joining MiniCo in 2011, Don held the position of vice president of claims for the agribusiness division of QBE/OneBeacon Insurance Company as well as multiple senior management positions with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company.
Don Heinrich is the Assistant Vice President of Claims for Chubb Agribusiness Insurance. He is a 1981 graduate of the Drake University School of Law and has worked in insurance, consulting and risk management for 35 years. He has spent the last 10 years managing agricultural claim operations.
His areas of expertise include coverage and complex litigation, insurance company claim department structure and procedures, reinsurance, captive insurance and alternative risk financing. He was the principal and owner of Heinrich Insurance Consulting, providing consulting and expert witness support to the legal and insurance industries.
